01. About

Wimbledon Restaurant & Bar is located within the Tennis Club Slávia Právnik in Bratislava, near the Veľký Draždiak lake. The venue has a long-standing tradition and has long been a popular meeting place for tennis enthusiasts visiting the club, as well as for people spending time in the nearby lakeside area. In 2019, the restaurant was taken over and renovated by a new owner with a genuine passion for tennis and a strong commitment to high-quality food, giving the space a renewed identity while preserving its connection to the local tennis community.

Wimbledon commissioned us to create a visual identity for their new brand that would reflect their passion for tennis, honor the legacy of the tennis club where many renowned Slovak players were trained, and celebrate their commitment to high-quality food. We developed a modern identity with a playful visual expression. A distinctive logotype and carefully selected color palette form a flexible visual system that can be consistently applied across all brand communications.

02. Visual Identity

A sense of positive energy, playfulness, and simplicity shaped the concept behind the new visual identity. The goal was to create a balanced design that subtly references both tennis and gastronomy while maintaining clarity, versatility, and a clean visual language.

To redefine the positioning of this well-known restaurant through its visual identity, we drew inspiration from its history, reputation, and the stories of people connected to the venue—particularly renowned Slovak tennis players associated with the club. The visual concept combines symbols of tennis and gastronomy, which are thoughtfully interconnected to create a simple, elegant design system that reflects the character of the place while supporting a clear and recognizable brand identity.

03. Interior Design

When designing the interior for Wimbledon Restaurant & Bar, we selected neutral tones of tennis green complemented by a dynamic, vibrant orange accent. This color combination was intended to create a modern, welcoming atmosphere while subtly referencing the energy and character of the sport.

A vintage-style wooden floor was selected to reference the restaurant’s long-standing connection to tennis. Decorative installations featuring vintage tennis rackets—similar to those used by renowned players in the past—together with subtle lighting elements create a warm, inviting, and playful atmosphere.
